The Open Round of the Albino Blacksheep Tournament of Flash Artists 2008 occurred between May 26 and June 19, 2008. The guideline was that the contestants' animations had to be a narrative of their online screen name. The Open Round is new to TOFA as it allows unknown artists to enter the tournament and be accurately matched up for Round 1 or dropped from the tournament completely.
